America Diversa Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to promoting human rights, education, and the empowerment of LGBTQIA+ Latinx asylum seekers and immigrants. We support our community with services that help them overcome the challenges of the immigration process in the United States and build more dignified, independent, and free lives.

Our mission is to provide LGBTQIA+ Latinx asylum seekers and immigrants with services that help them overcome the inherent difficulties of the U.S. immigration process. The vision we strive for every day is that LGBTQIA+ Latinx immigrants live in more dignified, independent conditions, free from all forms of discrimination, integrated into all social spaces, and collaborating in creating a prosperous, sustainable, and more just society for everyone.

Programa GALE LGBTQIA+ Latinxs de América Diversa

El Programa GALE LGBTQIA+ Latinxs de América Diversa ofrece una serie de grupos de apoyo diseñados para fortalecer a la comunidad LGBTQIA+ latina en Nueva York. Su objetivo es mejorar las interacciones sociales, fomentar la conciencia sobre los derechos y responsabilidades cívicas, combatir el aislamiento y la soledad, así como fortalecer la base emocional, el sentido de pertenencia y la preservación de nuestras raíces hispanas.

Gracias a la colaboración con The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, este programa se lleva a cabo para apoyar a la comunidad LGBTQIA+ latina de Nueva York.

Inmigrantes LGBTQIA+

Grupo Presencial

Este grupo está destinado a migrantes LGBTQIA+, proporcionando un espacio seguro para compartir experiencias, construir lazos de solidaridad y avanzar en acciones colectivas. Además, ofrece acceso a recursos vitales para superar los retos del proceso migratorio.

Días: 1er y 4to martes del mes.

Expresión Latinx LGBTQIA+

Grupo Híbrido

Este espacio está dedicado a la expresión, socialización y empoderamiento de personas LGBTQIA+ latinas. Aquí se pueden compartir puntos de vista sobre temas que afectan a nuestra comunidad y fortalecer la conexión cultural.

Días: 1er y 3er jueves del mes (presencial); jueves restantes (virtual).

Este grupo está dirigido a personas LGBTQIA+ mayores de 18 años que viven con VIH o SIDA, brindando apoyo para mejorar la adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral, mantener una salud estable y compartir experiencias con otros pares.
